Food Pantry

Join us every Wednesday from 5:00pm-6:30pm for our Food Pantry.

For over many years, SLCC has provided a Wednesday night food pantry.  All food-insecure persons, are invited to come and receive food donated by the LA Food Bank and other local sources.  Serving Wednesdays, 5:00pm-6:30pm at the Fellowship Hall; guests are asked to line up outside the door and also a drive through service is available.

WDI

in partnership with SELAH

Did you know that every Wednesday we host a drop in service from 2-4:30pm for our unhoused neighbors in partnership with SELAH.

WDI (Wednesday Drop In) connects them with much needed services such as clothing, medical, dental, tax preparation, birth certificate retrieval, identification etc. and gives them a hot meal + hygiene accessories.

Did you know that there were nearly 50,000 unhoused people in Los Angeles in 2019?

At SLCC we use our ministry to work locally and support our neighbors that are experiencing food and or housing insecurities.

Saturday Showers

If you or someone you know is in need of a shower, come to the church parking lot in the back between 1:00-4:00pm on Saturdays. All necessary hygiene items provided, including towels.  Clothing is also available, and food is provided.
